During my recent stay at the Residence in Greece, I found a mixed bag of experiences that potential guests might consider. On one hand, the location is undeniably excellent—just a short three-minute walk to the beach and five to the train station. This made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The outdoor swimming pool and bar area were also highlights, serving as a perfect relaxation spot after a day spent hiking or visiting ancient ruins. The staff at the pool bar were friendly and welcoming, and the food there offered good value for money. With seasonal outdoor pools and sun loungers, it’s an excellent option to unwind. While the accommodations felt secure—with gated access using a key fob—some amenities were lacking. For those looking for a more luxurious experience, be aware that the hotel may not fully deliver for the price point. Complimentary features like laundry or grocery shopping service were not available, which could impact longer stays. Ultimately, this hotel offers a solid base for sun seekers and history enthusiasts, but it's crucial to weigh the value against your expectations of luxury. While it has its perks, a bit more attention to detail could elevate the experience significantly.
